Today we’re making the EASIEST Cranberry Sauce right in your pressure cooker! I’ve partnered up with The Crock-Pot brand one last time this year using their 10 QT Crock-Pot® Express Easy Steam Release Pressure Cooker to make this delicious recipe!
Thanks for supporting the brands that make Food with Feeling possible!
Are you a fan of cranberry sauce? For YEARS I hated it but that was only because the cranberry sauce I was eating was canned and simply not as good as homemade. Once I tried a fresh, made at home, version of cranberry sauce, I was instantly OBSESSED!
If you’ve never tried it, t’s SO SO easy to make at home so you can go ahead and ditch those canned cranberries :D
It’s especially easy when you make it in a pressure cooker. It’s purely a ‘dump-everything-in’ and stir kind of recipe and I love it for that. I made the recipe very scalable so that you can make a small portion of it or adjust the recipe to make it for a large crowd.
This is especially easy to do in the 10 QT Crock-Pot Express since it holds so much at once. You can truly make a TON of cranberry sauce if you need to.
Something else that I really like about the Crock-Pot Express is that you can release the pressure while keeping your hands away from the hot steam with the Easy Release Steam Dial. The dial is conveniently located a little to the side so that you can turn it with ease and not worry that you’re going to get blasted by hot steam.
The BEST part to me about this kitchen appliance: it’s a pressure cooker AND slow cooker in one! I was originally hesitant to buy one because I didn’t know if I had the space. But with the slow cooker built in as well, it’s perfect and takes up no more space in my kitchen! LOVE!
If you’ve been considering buying a pressure cooker, I HIGHLY recommend the Crock-Pot Express. You can learn more and pick yours up at Target HERE.
As for the cranberry sauce: it’s as easy as dumping everything into the pressure cooker, stirring, and setting the device to high pressure for just 2 minutes and then letting it natural release for about 10 minutes. Remember that it takes the pressure cooker about 10 minutes to come up to pressure and start cooking.

Ingredients
- 12 ounces of fresh cranberries
- ¼ cup of fresh orange juice
- zest of half an orange
- ½ cup of sugar

Instructions
- Rinse the fresh cranberries and pick them over to discard and mushy ones.
- Stir all of the ingredients in the pressure cooker and stir to combine.
- Seal the pot and set to manual high pressure for 2 minutes. Let the pressure of the pot release natural for 10 minutes and then release any remaining pressure.

- Turn off of the heat, serve, and ENJOY!
Sounds delicious. Could I make this in advance?
